DENVER—One person is in custody but police are still searching for two other people who robbed a downtown Denver bank.
Authorities say two men and a woman held up the First National Bank at 17th Street and Glenarm Place at about 9:30 a.m. Friday. Witnesses said the robbers did not display a weapon.
A SWAT team surrounded a nearby parking garage after one of the suspects was thought to have been seen there, but no one has been found.
Meanwhile, Durango police are looking for a man who robbed the Pine River Valley Bank on Thursday while armed with a hypodermic needle.
Police say the man in his early 20s got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No injuries were reported in either robbery.
