DENVER—A Denver man whose infant son drown after investigators say he left the baby unattended in the bath tub has been charged in the child’s death.
Denver district attorney spokeswoman Lynn Kimbrough says 46-year-old Thomas Ashley faces a charge of child abuse resulting in death, a felony.
Investigators say 7-month-old Isaac drown April 28 after Ashley left the child unattended in the tub while he took out the trash and made a phone call.
Ashley is free on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on Thursday to be advised of the charge.
