Two teenagers were arrested early Saturday morning at a Centennial alternative school, accused of smashing computers and painting graffiti at the school.
The teens, ages 16 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, trespassing and criminal mischief at 3:49 a.m. at Cherry Creek P.R.E.P. at 14076 E. Briarwood Ave., according to a news release from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they arrested the boys when they tried to run from the school. Damage was estimated at $7,000. The suspects are being held on $6,000 bail.
