Ten Colorado fashion companies were named Tuesday night as Rising Stars by Fashion Group International of Denver. Representing men’s and women’s sportswear, dresses, outdoor and active wear, urban and streetwear, art wearables, children’s clothing, accessories and jewelry, the designers will present their collections in a runway gala Oct. 23 at Mercedes-Benz of Westmnister, the presenting sponsor. Additional honorees will be named in retailing and interiors. The event, which will include silent and live auctions, benefits FGI’s scholarship and educational outreach programs.
