The high cost of precious metals and stones, coupled with the recession, is causing some jewelers to look at more-affordable choices. Melissa and Jeremy Oster, whose Oster Jewelers in Cherry Creek North carries a wide selection of contemporary designs, is launching Rebecca. Named for the first daughter of Alessandro Testi, part of the Italian jewelry family, the collection, $200-$1,000, is fashioned from bronze with either rose or yellow gold vermeil and hydrothermal stones.
