Broomfield police Thursday arrested a 27-year-old Denver man in connection with a high-profile shoplifting incident at the FlatIron Marketplace Best Buy on Aug. 1.
Brett Boyles was arrested at his home and faces charges of aggravated robbery and second-degree assault. He is accused of cutting a store manager on the finger as he tussled with two employees outside the store.
Boyles has a lengthy arrest record in Denver, Boulder, Broomfield and Adams counties.
On Sunday, Best Buy fired the two employees, Jared Bergstreser, 20, and Colin Trapp, 23, for violating the company policy against pursuing shoplifters outside the store.
