GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—Authorities have found a plot of marijuana growing east of Glenwood Springs in western Colorado.
Members of a drug task force made up of several law enforcement agencies said Tuesday that nearly 930 plants ranging 4 to 5 feet tall were found. They estimate the marijuana would sell for about $2 million on the street.
Authorities believe the plants have been there for a while.
More than 800 marijuana plants were found growing outside in Battlement Mesa, west of Glenwood Springs, last year.
The Trident task force that found the plants is funded by local, state and federal governments.
