GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—If you’re looking for a politician running for office next year, head to Grand Junction.

Politicians and their campaign aides are swarming to a daylong public policy summit Saturday by Club 20, a policy group that advocates for the Western Slope.

Democratic Gov. Bill Ritter and Sen. Michael Bennet will be there. So will Republican Rep. Mike Coffman and two Republicans seeking to challenge Ritter for the governor’s office next year—Scott McInnis and Josh Penry.

The agenda includes discussion of health care reform, drilling practices in Colorado and state efforts to develop a plan for so-called roadless areas in remote national forests.
