Since the Denver Broncos and the Dallas Cowboys met in Super Bowl XII at the Superdome in New Orleans at the end of the 1977 season, their matchups have largely been one-sided — in favor of Denver.
In their first trip to the Super Bowl, the Broncos lost to the Cowboys 27-10. That was the third meeting between the teams, all won by Dallas.
Since then, the Broncos have rallied. They routed the Cowboys at Mile High Stadium in 1980, winning 41-20. Including that victory, Denver is 5-2 against the Cowboys since Super Bowl XII.
In the series’ 11th game, the Cowboys make their first visit to Invesco Field at Mile High on Sunday. Starting at 2:15 p.m., the game airs on Fox.
