COLORADO SPRINGS — A mother took matters into her own hands when someone pointed a gun at her child early Sunday morning during a street fight on the 4500 block of Allison Drive, in southeast Colorado Springs, the Gazette reported.
Police said the woman, whose name was not released, fired a round from her pistol in the air, which turned out to be a surefire way to disperse the crowd. Police recovered the suspect’s gun during a traffic stop, but they have not found a suspect.
