World-renowned alpinists Conrad Anker and Jimmy Chin will share their harrowing tales at an event Oct. 24 in Breckenridge. They will give a presentation on what they call the hardest climb of their careersan 18-day ascent of the 22,000-foot Mount Meru deep in the Indian Himalaya with fellow climber Renan Ozturk.

Anker is best known for his numerous first ascents and climbs around the world and the discovery of the body of George Mallory on Everest. Chin is one of the most versatile and sought-after expedition photographers in the industry.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at The North Face in Breckenridge. There is limited free seating, $8 for reserved seating and $20 for a reception and preferred seating.
