AURORA — Police are investigating a bar shooting that left the bar bouncer injured.
Aurora police told 9News the shooting happened about 12:45 a.m. Saturday at Pitcher’s Sports Restaurant on Chambers Road and Mexico Avenue in Aurora.
Authorities said the unarmed bar bouncer tried to intervene in a fight, and was shot once in the torso. The bar bouncer was transported to a hospital and is expected to recover.
Police said the gunman ran away, and no suspect has been identified. The shooting is under investigation.
