DES MOINES, Iowa—The 76th time was the charm for the Iowa State women’s volleyball team.

Iowa State snapped a staggering 75-game losing streak against Nebraska on Wednesday night, beating the Cornhuskers 3-2 in Lincoln.

The win was the Cyclones first over their Big 12 rivals since the program began in the 1970s.

Iowa State coach Christy-Johnson Lynch says that while 0-75 was overwhelming, the Cyclones can look at this win and believe anything is possible.

Iowa State fell behind 2-1 before rallying to win the final two sets.
