DeGeneres duds.
If comedian Ellen DeGeneres is looking a bit more dapper on her TV show these days, her surge in style could have something to do with Lawrence Covell, a Cherry Creek boutique.
Andrew Seibert, the store’s new brand director, said the show contacted Viktor & Rolf, a high-end fashion collection, looking for certain pieces from their lines.
“Although we no longer carry V&R, they directed the show to us, where we spoke to them and filled them in on the other brands we carried,” Seibert said.
The Denver store sent the talk-show host some pieces in from Etro and Luciano Barbera, which apparently appealed to her, because she wanted more.
“We are very excited about this opportunity, as it not only highlights our products but shows that Denver really has some unique pieces and stores,” Seibert said. Associated Press file photo
