Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort has yanked the season ski pass of a woman who criticized changes to its operating schedule.
Resort CEO Gary Derck said Lauren Slaff was refunded the $539 she paid so she could find a resort that better met her expectations.
Slaff told The Durango Herald for an October article that friends with weekday passes to the resort were upset that at the beginning and end of ski season, the resort planned to be open only Friday through Sunday.
