Castle Pines North finally has turned over its financial audit to the state — six weeks late.
Crystal Dorsey, local government audit manager for the state, had instructed Douglas County to withhold property-tax revenue until Castle Pines North turned over the document.
Dorsey said her office is reviewing the audit and will send a letter to the city if there are any issues with it. The city has received its back-taxes. The county had withheld about $4,500 for October. November figures were not available.
