BEAVER CREEK, Colo.—Carlo Janka has won a second consecutive World Cup race, edging Swiss teammate Didier Cuche in a downhill, while Bode Miller finished fourth.

Janka completed the Birds of Prey course in an unofficial time of 1 minute, 43.49 seconds Saturday, one day after leading another 1-2 Swiss finish in a super combined event.

Cuche was 0.02 seconds back. Reigning overall World Cup champion Aksel Lund Svindal, coming back from a left leg injury, was third.

Miller, of Franconia, N.H., came in 0.45 seconds off the pace—by far his best showing of the season. The two-time overall champion raced in classic Miller fashion, twice nearly skiing out, but he touched the snow with a glove at one point to stay upright.
