Denver police are looking for one, and possibly two, drivers involved in a hit-and-run accident with a scooter.
The scooter driver was seriously injured, police said.
The incident happened about 10:10 p.m. Thursday on West 38th Avenue near Pecos Street.
The scooter was westbound on 38th when it was “involved in a collision” with one or possibly two vehicles, police said.
At the scene, investigators found a side mirror from an Audi that was torn from the car and left behind. The mirror housing is gold- or pewter-colored, police said.
The name of the victim and details on the scooter driver’s injuries were not released. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 720-913-6011.
