Brett Favre: The Vikings quarterback set an NFL record by playing in his 283rd consecutive game Sunday night. With his first snap against the Cardinals, the 40-year-old Favre broke the record of 282 held by longtime Vikings defensive end Jim Marshall.
LaDainian Tomlinson: The Chargers running back scored his 150th career touchdown in a win over the Browns and moved past Hall of Famer Jim Brown for eighth place on the career rushing list. “He’s a class guy,” Brown said. Tomlinson now has 12,321 yards. Tony Dorsett (12,739) is seventh.
Chris Johnson: The Titans running back ran for at least 100 yards in his seventh straight game, tying Earl Campbell’s franchise record.
Tony Gonzalez: Set an Atlanta record for catches (69) by a tight end in a season.
