ORLANDO, Fla.—The Powerball jackpot was expected to grow to an estimated $92 million for Saturday since no one matched all six of the numbers in the midweek drawing, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.
The winning numbers Wednesday were 13, 23, 25, 35 and 43. The Powerball was 15 and the Power Play was 5.
Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $79.3 million jackpot.
Five tickets sold in Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Maine and Pennsylvania matched the first five numbers only to win $200,000 each. The top prize in Colorado was $10,000 for a ticket that matched the Powerball plus four of the other numbers, Colorado Lottery officials said.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.
The game is now played in 31 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
