The FBI is investigating another bank robbery in the Denver area, one of nine bank robberies in Denver this week. Authorities do not believe the crimes are related.
The FBI said a man in a bright-red hard hat robbed the Bank of the West at Carr Street and Ralston Road in Arvada about 1:30 p.m. He left on foot.
Also on Wednesday afternoon, 9News reported, a man robbed a bank at 17th Street and Glenarm Place in downtown Denver. And a third robbery was reported on Colorado Boulevard near East Yale Avenue at 5:10 p.m.
Three banks were robbed Monday and three Tuesday.
