The Broncos have lost six out of eight after their amazing 6-0 start. You want the bad news now, Bronco Nation?

Philip Rivers isn’t going away any time soon.

Rivers, who just turned 28, has been the Chargers’ starting quarterback for four seasons. During that time, the Bolts have won four AFC West championships. Nothing unusual there except that John Elway played 16 seasons and never won more than two in a row.

Wait, it gets worse. Not to go all Humbug! on you at the holidays, but Rivers’ career passer rating is 95.3. Peyton Manning’s career passer rating? That would be 95.3.

Moral to the story: There could be no end in sight to the Chargers’ dominance of the division.
