Oakwood Homes has a grand opening in Castle Rock that’s the perfect medicine for a family that’s been waiting for the right moment to make the jump from a townhome or condo to a single family home in a nice neighborhood.
Today you can tour Oakwood’s opening of two collections at Morningview, the newest neighborhood in The Meadows master-planned community, west of I-25 near the Castle Rock Outlet Stores. You can see five newly completed model homes…along with the “Grange” barn-style cultural center/pool a couple of blocks walk…new Clear Sky Elementary School just up the street…and new Bison Park and Ridgeline Open Space, with soccer fields and miles of trails that crest the surrounding hills and buttes.
Meanwhile, you can take a virtual tour of six New Beginnings plans that Oakwood is opening here today: super-affordable single family designs, all with attached 2-car garages, at prices starting from $169,700. “People are shocked at seeing prices that low,” says Melanie Gayer, who along with Rhett Nelson will be on hand today to show you the plan.
“I’ve had Realtors ask me if they were some kind of paired or attached home.”
“They’re even lower than some new townhomes in The Meadows,” adds Alisa Poncher, Sales Manager for Oakwood. “And what’s so great about them is that you’re surrounded by higher priced single family homes.”
You can tour the models in Oakwood’s larger Carson Collection from the very reachable $220s…and see Oakwood’s semi-custom Oxford and Belford Collections in other parts of Morningview. But if you’re in the price range you thought was limited to condos (or maybe a foreclosed home with no warranty), you’ll be amazed how much Oakwood can provide with New Beginnings.
All of them deliver the builder’s ‘High Performance’ energy package (“People are blown away by the quality of construction,” says Gayer, who like Poncher, lives in an older Oakwood neighborhood she bought into before going to work for the company).
For a small upgrade, Oakwood will wire the roof for solar panels, and/or add a basement. On those slightly more expensive Carson models, you can opt for a 3-car garage.
For those first ten buyers, Poncher says that New Beginnings could have you in here at around $1,120 a month, at 30-year fixed financing and 3.5% down. You can also ask about a newly released federal $8,000 tax credit available to first-time buyers. Take Meadows Parkway west from
I-25 two miles to Morningview Drive and turn left.
