The University of Northern Colorado Athletics Hall of Fame announced its 2010 induction class Monday, a list that includes the Bears’ 1963-64 wrestling team as well as nine individuals.
Joe Bonacquista, baseball (1962-64); Erin Deffenbaugh, volleyball (2000-04); Scott Gates, wrestling (1988-92); Dirk Johnson, football (1993-97); Les Kroeger, wrestling (1951-57); Loren Snyder, football (1983-86); Melissa (Borell) Vaughn, basketball (1999-2003); and Harry Wise, baseball, basketball and football (1945-51); are the former athletes joining former athletic director Jim Fallis in the 2010 class.
The Hall of Fame’s banquet and induction ceremony will take place Feb. 19 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the University Ballrooms.
