Three people were arrested after a woman was shot in the shoulder and torso about 2 a.m. Saturday during a party at a Thornton mobile home, police say.

The woman, in her 20s, was in stable condition, said Thornton police spokesman Matt Barnes.

The suspects’ names have not been released.

The shooting happened at Woodland Hills Mobile Home Park at 1500 W. Thornton Parkway, Barnes said.

A large group of people was in the home when an argument broke out among several women. Their argument had moved outside when an unknown suspect fired shots at a woman who was still inside, Barnes said.

Cars sped away. A Federal Heights police officer stopped a car and arrested three people. Kirk Mitchell, The Denver Post
