DENVER—Republican lawmakers are asking Gov. Bill Ritter for an investigation of continuing complaints at a youth detention facility in Greeley.

Loveland Rep. B.J. Nikkel says workers at the facility have reported allegations of child abuse and harassment of employees by detention supervisors over the past few months, including one worker who claimed her tires were slashed.

State officials told lawmakers earlier this year they investigated and found no pattern of abuse at the facility.
