According to the NBA, tonight’s Nuggets game at the Oklahoma City Thunder is expected to be played despite an ice/snow storm in the area that has closed down businesses, caused dangerous driving conditions, cut power to more than 100,000 people, and has only essential employees being required to work.
The Nuggets, however, got to their shootaround this morning and arrived back to their hotel within the last half hour.
the Nuggets are seeking their ninth victory in a row.
Despite Will Rogers World Airport being closed Thursday, referees for tonight’s contest have made it into town. The Nuggets got into town early on Thursday morning, just ahead of the storm which produced more than an inch of ice on the ground and is currently dumping snow on top of that.
Tonight’s game, which starts at 6 p.m., is the second in the Nuggets’ three-game road trip. It finishes on Sunday morning at San Antonio.
