LARAMIE, Wyo.—Wyoming had one of the best shooting nights in school history on Saturday, hitting 75 percent of its shots en route to a 98-37 victory over Air Force.
The Cowgirls (13-6, 4-3 Mountain West) were 37 of 49 from the field, including 20 of 30 on 3-point attempts. The 20 3-pointers broke the school record of 14.
Hillary Carlson led Wyoming with 21 points, hitting all 10 of her shots in the first half. She shot just once in the second half, playing six minutes before she and the rest of the starters took a seat. Sarah Wilson added 17 points, Jade Kennedy had 15 points and nine assists, and Randi Richardson had 12 points.
The Cowgirls used scoring runs of 16-0 and 25-7 to take a 52-14 halftime lead. Wyoming was 20 of 23 from the field (10 of 13 from 3-point range) in the first half.
Raimee Beck led Air Force (0-7, 3-17) with nine points.
