LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska football fans are gearing up for a new season, and many will turn to this spring’s annual scrimmage for a preview.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday morning for the April 17 Red/White scrimmage.
Fans can purchase tickets at Huskers.com, by phone at 1-800-8-BIG-RED, or in person at the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office. Reserved tickets are $10 each.
Nebraska will be selling nearly all of Memorial Stadium on a reserved-ticket basis for the game.
Department spokesman Keith Mann says the move last year was met with a favorable response from fans who bought nearly all of the tickets for the 2009 game weeks before the contest.
A similar response is expected this year, meaning it’s likely there will be no ticket sales on the day of the game.
