The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League acquired the rights to goalie Chris Levis of the Calgary Roughnecks by dealing its 2011 second-round entry draft selection Wednesday.
After a year with the Edmonton Rush, Levis began this season with Calgary. In 2009, while with the Rush, Levis logged 596 minutes in goal with an 11.3 goals-against average.
The Mammoth also signed forward Chris Gill, who will replace injured captain John Gallant on the 23-man roster. Gill played for the Mammoth in three of the last four seasons.
