The FBI today identified identified two men a federal grand jury thinks are the “Hoppin’ Hoodie Bandits” armed bank robbers who held up a series of Denver banks last year.
Timothy McGlothin, 41, remains at-large. His alleged accomplice, Joshua Licona, 19, is in federal custody. Public records show both men live in the metro area. McGlothin has a lengthy arrest record, including burglary, theft, escape and weapons charges. Licona received only speeding ticket in Jefferson County last year, records show.
McGlothin is described as black, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 150 pounds with black hair, and brown eyes. The robbers got their nicknames for their apparel and because they hopped up on counters to demand money.
The FBI said McGlothin should be considered armed and dangerous.
An undisclosed cash reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest, the FBI said in a statement this afternoon.
