“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something used” might be the new adage when it comes to bridal wear. The Altar in Denver’s Highland neighborhood is a new business specializing in bridal consignments. Owners Lindsey Lopez and Tiffany Freeman sell new, couture, designer, “pre-loved,” sample and vintage dresses in sizes 2-24 in a variety of styles and fits. Among the designers represented are Vera Wang, Melissa Sweet, Alfred Angelo, Maggie Sottero, and Demetrios. Prices range from $100 to $3,000. On Friday and Saturday, all dresses will be discounted 20 percent. Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Altar, 4014 Tennyson St.; ; 303-455-3385
