DENVER—A witness under federal protection has again testified that suspected gang member Willie Clark fired into a limo carrying Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams when Williams was shot to death.

Daniel “Ponytail” Harris was on the stand for a second day Tuesday in Clark’s trial on first-degree murder charges in the New Year’s Day 2007 shooting.

Harris says he was in an SUV with Clark when the shots were fired. On Monday, Harris also identified Clark as the shooter.

Defense attorney Darren Cantor questioned Harris’ motives, citing multiple plea deals he reached for his testimony.

Cantor told Harris, “you have repeatedly tried to sell your story to the government.”

Harris responded that he was telling the truth.
