Getting your player ready...

The biggest problem with rocking your favorite Shaun White look-alike bandana as face protection during those frigid days on the slopes is that a flimsy cotton handkerchief really doesn’t do squat when it comes to preventing frostbite. Fortunately, the folks at Seirus are here to help cover your epidermis. The California-based company with a knack for accessorizing skiers and snowboarders has come up with a new line of fleece-lined bandanas capable of keeping the elements out of your face, including the bomber soft shell Combodana (MSRP: $25). Featuring a con- tour face piece that fits over your nose to prevent goggle fog, a wind/waterproof membrane, wicking microfleece and adjustable Velcro closure, this top-shelf protective piece comes in three sizes and a variety of styles. Lower-end Seirus bandanas include the standard soft shell (MSRP: $20) that eliminates the contoured face piece and the “classic” bandana (MSRP: $15) that combines microfleece with a poly-cotton outer layer.
