BOULDER, Colo.—Bud Thomas Scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds Thursday night, and the Regis Jesuit Raiders dominated the Doherty Spartans 80-42 in the boys Class 5A state semifinals at the University of Colorado’s Coors Events Center.
Top-seeded Regis (26-1) will try to win back-to-back Class 5A state championships on Saturday night.
Drew Dyer scored 16 points, while Joey Ptasinski had 11 and Ryan Winters added 10 for the Raiders.
Tyler Velasquez led all scorers with 20 for No. 3-seed Doherty (18-10), which was outshot 54.5 percent to 28.6 percent from the field.
The game was never in doubt as Regis led 18-7 after the first quarter, 35-19 at the intermission and 62-30 after the third.
The Continental League champions from Aurora have now won 25 in a row.
