CORTEZ, Colo.—A Colorado district attorney is accused of driving drunk.

Chaffee County District Attorney Jim Wilson was arrested Feb. 21 and charged with DUI. The Cortez Journal reports Saturday that if Wilson is convicted, he could also face sanctions from the state’s Office of Attorney Regulation.

The 57-year-old prosecutor also faces a misdemeanor weapons charge for allegedly having a 9mm handgun while under the influence of alcohol.

Wilson has said he will not step down from his job while awaiting his case. He’s due in court April 7.
