COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A 23-year-old Colorado Springs man suspected of abusing his daughter has vanished before facing attempted murder charges.
Authorities say Jessie Kaizen fled a courthouse in Colorado Springs as the court considered revoking his bond.
Kaizen was arrested last November on suspicion of causing life-threatening injuries to his daughter, who was 9 months old at the time. Kaizen faces attempted murder charges.
Police say Kaizen may be using the name Jessie Carabajal. He’s a white male, about 5-feet-11-inches tall and 150 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
Police say he may be driving a black Mitsubishi Eclipse with front-end damage.
