DENVER—The Denver district attorney has formally charged a man in connection with a triple shooting that killed a man after an altercation outside a night club last year.

Twenty-year-old Ricardo Soto is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault over the shootings Nov. 1.

Twenty-nine-year-old John McGaughy-Singleton died a few days later of his injuries. Two other people were wounded.

Soto is jailed and is due to be formally advised of the charges against him Wednesday.
