GOLDEN, Colo.—A man wounded by police in a Black Hawk casino parking garage has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery and attempted first-degree murder of an officer.
Forty-three-year-old Randy Steven Keesee is a suspect in Saturday’s robbery of Central City’s Famous Bonanza Casino. Police say Keesee showed a cashier a handgun and left the casino with $28,000 in $100 and $50 bills.
A short time after the robbery, officers found Keesee in a car in a casino in nearby Black Hawk. Police say an officer fired several shots when he approached Keesee and saw a gun in his hand. Police arrested Keesee Tuesday after he was released from the hospital. He is being held on $1 million bail.
