The campaign for U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet reported raising $1.4 million in the first three months of the year, bringing the appointed Democrat’s total raised to $6.1 million.
The quarterly tally, bolstered by a February fundraising visit from President Barack Obama, is the campaign’s largest to date and the fifth straight topping the $1 million mark.
Democratic challenger Andrew Romanoff has yet to release his first- quarter fundraising totals.
GOP front-runner Jane Norton announced last week that her campaign had raised $816,000 from January to March.
