One person is dead and an adult and two infants in another vehicle were taken to a hospital after a head-on crash near Kittredge this afternoon.
No names have yet been released, and the survivors’ injuries are not life-threatening, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
The crash happened at 1:56 p.m. at 3761 Myers Gulch Road, about a mile south of Kittredge.
The investigation indicated an adult and two children were in a sport-utility vehicle traveling north when it crossed into the oncoming lane before it collided with a sedan, killing its driver, said Trooper Heather Cobler.
