BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — A judge has issued an arrest warrant for actress Lindsay Lohan and ordered her to post $200,000 bond because she violated a court order directing her to not consume alcohol and to wear an alcohol-detection device.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel made the announcement Tuesday afternoon after the device on Lohan’s ankle sent a report indicating the presence of alcohol Sunday after the MTV Movie Awards. Revel doubled the bond for Lohan, 23, from $100,000 to $200,000 pending a July 6 hearing on whether she violated the terms of her probation in a 2007 driving- under-the-influence arrest.
