Lindsay Lohan‘s alcohol detection bracelet set off a silent alarm at an MTV Music Awards party Sunday night.

A prosecution source confirmed that it was alcohol-related, according to the New York Daily News.

“The court finds that she was in violation of the conditions of bail. So her bail is forfeited,” Judge Marsha Revel said at an emergency hearing.

Because Lohan is already out on bail for misdemeanor charges over two DUI arrests in 2007, Revel upped her current bail, rather than sending her to jail, according to the Daily News.

A bail bondsman helped the “Mean Girls” star meet the new doubled bail of $200,000.

Lohan wasn’t at the hearing but took to Twitter to cast blame widely on the tabloids and the paparazzi — everyone but herself, the Daily News said.

Revel ordered the ankle bracelet for Lohan May 24 and ordered her to submit to random weekly drug testing pending a probation violation hearing July 6.

If following the hearing she rules that Lohan defied the court’s terms, the actress could face six months in prison.

Talk show host Larry King‘s wife was taken to a hospital unconscious after apparently suffering from a drug overdose, it was reported Tuesday.

It hasn’t been reported what caused the overdose May 28, but family members said Shawn Southwick, 50, takes drugs for anxiety and depression.

Southwick and King, 76, have recently reunited after both filed for divorce several weeks ago. The two have been married for 12 years and have two children together.

In a 911 call obtained by RadarOnline on Tuesday, Southwick’s father, Karl Engemann, tells the operator that he found his daughter unconscious in her Provo, Utah, home.

“I can’t wake her up,” the 76-year-old Engemann calmly tells the 911 operator. “She may have overmedicated. She’s unconscious. I slap her and I holler ather and she opens her eyes halfway and puts them back down again.”

Asked about suicide, the father emphatically replied, “No, no, no. It wouldn’t be suicidal. I don’t think she did it on purpose. Last night, she seemed confused about what she had taken, the last time she had taken it.”

In April, King filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Hours later, Southwick filed for divorce herself amid rumors King was having an affair with her younger sister.

The couple later reconciled.

One week after former Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, announced their separation after four decades of marriage, friends confirmed that the eldest of the couple’s four children, daughter Karenna Gore Schiff, has separated from her husband of 12 years.

Karenna, 36, and Andrew “Drew” Schiff, 44, “have been separated for a couple of months and in marriage counseling,” a friend of the couple told People. The couple live in New York and have three small children: Wyatt, 10; Anna, 8; and Oscar, 3. Another friend of the Gore family said of the split, “It’s amicable and they are in counseling. They are not divorced.”

Kalee Kreider, a spokeswoman for the former vice president, said: “Neither the Gores nor the Schiffs plan to comment.” But the two friends who spoke to People said they wanted to be frank about the state of the Schiffs’ marriage to head off any misinformation or rumor-mongering as people look at the Gore family’s private life.

“People are looking for reasons and there’s a lot of psychoanalysis of the Gores,” said the friend of the Schiffs.

Hollywood favorite Johnny Depp turned 47 yesterday.

Born John Chistopher Depp II in Owensboro, Ky., Depp has been on the showbiz scene for more than 25 years.

He was a teen idol in 1985’s “Private Resort” and a bonafide heartthrob in the Fox series 21 “Jump Street.” He evolved into a thrice-nominated Oscar contender whose versatile performances (ranging from Edward Scissorhands to Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean to Willy Wonka) have won over critics and audiences alike.

The A-lister has two movies in the works, including “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and “The Tourist,” which co-stars Angelina Jolie.
