. Two legislative candidates — state Rep. Joel Judd, D-Denver, and Parker Mayor David Casiano — collected enough valid signatures to earn spots on the August primary ballot, the secretary of state’s office said Wednesday.
Judd is running for Senate District 34 in northwest Denver against Sen. Lucia Guzman, who was appointed to the seat in May.
Casiano is running in House District 44 for the seat held by Minority Leader Mike May, R-Parker, who is term-limited.
Casiano faces two other Republicans in the primary, Chris Holbert and Polly Lawrence, who got on the ballot by going through the district assembly.
