DENVER—Denver International Airport expects 575,000 passengers this Fourth of July weekend, which would be a 33 percent increase from last year.

Airport officials say 430,000 passengers flew through DIA last July 4 holiday. The airport is advising travelers to be in the ticketing lobbies at least two hours before their flights.

Airport officials are also urging passengers to check in online if their airline offers the service and to check as much luggage as possible.
