COLORADO SPRINGS — An El Paso County grand jury has indicted a Colorado Springs man on charges of killing one man and trying to kill his ex-wife’s lawyer, the judge in his divorce case and their families, the Gazette reports.

Bruce Nozolino, 49, is charged with 31 counts, including first-degree murder and attempted murder, in the indictment handed up Thursday. He was arrested that afternoon.

The Gazette reports the indictment charges Nozolino with the Nov. 30, 2008, murder of Richard Schreiner, 46, who was found shot outside his Stetson Hills home.

Nozolino had long been a suspect in the Jan. 23, 2002, sniper attack that left Colorado Springs lawyer John Ciccolella blind in one eye.

Ciccolella was the lawyer of Nozolino’s wife.
