COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Heavy rains sweeping through parts of southern and south-central Colorado have flooded streets and created traffic problems.
A horse trailer was part of a five-car collision that shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 in Colorado Springs Tuesday evening. The National Weather Service has received reports of 2 to 3 inches of rain in northeastern El Paso County.
The weather service issued thunderstorm warnings and flood advisories from southeastern Colorado to the central part of the state.
