UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — A 27-year-old man who police have alleged is a serial killer has been indicted in the deaths of a mother and daughter last year.
Former United Parcel Service worker Jason Thomas Scott of Upper Marlboro was indicted Tuesday on two counts of first-degree murder in the March 2009 slayings of a nurse and her 20-year-old daughter. Police said those killings are linked to the January 2009 slayings of another woman and her daughter in the area. Scott has not been charged in those slayings.
