Former Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann — and friends — opened up last Thursday’s show at the Ogden Theatre with “Cumberland Blues,” showing the enthusiastic crowd that you, in fact, can almost go home again.

This packed, percussion-heavy show highlighted a number of Dead songs, which, when combined with their beat-laden grooves, kept the crowd on its toes all night. Old favorites (“Brokedown Palace,” “Casey Jones” and “Friend of the Devil”) mixed with just enough originals to keep the audience wanting more.
