More than 70 new jobs will be coming to Lakewood in late September when Burlington Coat Factory opens a store in the Colorado Mills mall.
Regional vice president Edward Heller said the company is excited about the debut of its 65,000-square- foot store at 14500 W. Colfax Ave. It will be the sixth Burlington Coat Factory in Colorado.
“We feel strongly about the Denver market,” Heller said. “We have stores in Westminster and Littleton, and this store kind of fills the void as we go west.”
Heller said the new positions will include sales and management, both full- and part-time. As the holiday season approaches, more jobs will be available.
“We always have seasonal positions,” he said.
Heller added that as the population grows in the foothills, Burlington is very excited to serve residents of the west metro area.
“It’s right for the growing community and for this market to open another Burlington,” he said.
The new store will take over the former Jillian’s location at the mall.
